Bioinformatics - Afternoon Schoof, Heiko [1]. Solanaceae bioinformatics: Open standards, data availability, visions. HOW can bioinformatics efforts e.g. within SGN or EUSOL bear fruit for Solanaceae research? This discussion will foremost deal with standardization issues and synergies for tomato genome annotation and bioinformatics. Beside sequence, other large scale data is being generated in high throughput experiments, and based on presentations within this satellite, phenotype and expression data will be a topic.
