Spring Green, Wisconsin Tour.

THIS Spring Green Tour will be an all day event beginning with a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin Home. The Taliesin is considered one of Wright's greatest architectural masterpieces. Located on 600 acres, the 37,000-square-foot country estate includes living quarters, an office, drafting studio, farm buildings, and other structures. Everything from the landscaped grounds, roads and ponds, lighting, furnishings, and collected objects is a product of Wright's imagination. A visit to the Taliesin will enhance your knowledge of Wright and his architectural genius. Lunch will be served at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, followed by a tour of the House on the Rock. The House on the Rock, designed and build by Alex Jordan of Madison is located atop a 60-foot chimney of rock. Begun in the early 1940's, it overlooks the breathtaking panorama of Wyoming Valley. The 14-room House, sculpted atop Deer Shelter Rock, is the original structure of what is now an extraordinary complex of rooms, streets, buildings and gardens covering over 200 acres. The tour will return to Madison by 4:30. Cost $65 per person.
